Known as the ZX310STe, this 3D-DLP projector by Optoma features basic specs of 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 124 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
