The Optoma EX531 is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 2600 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 2500:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
