The hardware properties of the EH501 manufactured by Optoma include 5000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast value of 15000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2500 hours before a replacement is necessary. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (15W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 27 decibels. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
