Based on DLP technology, the Optoma PJ638X projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 30000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 537 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 358 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 27 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
