Categorized in the Stationary segment, the EW865 projector from Optoma projects with a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution, alongside 6000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 4000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 525 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
