Equipped with DLP technology, the Optoma DX617 offers 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 444 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 296 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
