Behind the name DS311 is a 3D-LED-DLP projector by Optoma, whose main features include 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 13000:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4500 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 461 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 307 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 26 decibels. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
