As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Optoma ES555 is equipped with 3000 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast of 13000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4500 hours before a replacement is necessary, which amounts to roughly 6.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
