The projector DX608 by Optoma utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2200:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
