This projector from Optoma utilizes 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP technology, achieving 3200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 20000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 6500 hours – mathematically sufficient for 8.9 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 575 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 383 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. With a value of only 26 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
