As a projector, the Optoma ZH400USTi combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 4000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 100000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
