With the ProScene ZU920T, Optoma offers a 3D-Laser-DLP projector that features 8200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projector Calculator. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 250 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 920 cm can be illuminated with 8200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 613 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
