The equipment of the Optoma HD151X projector includes 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 28000:1 with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2500 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 359 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (15W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.

Bestes Gerät. Every 5000h a cleaning, and the box runs forever, the colors still rich even after 3000h on the lamp.
The background noise is really bearable due to the large low-frequency fans, and 3D with the 3D RFs is awesome, the 2x telezoom especially interesting for black ALR screens.

Good 3D projector
I bought the projector second-hand, mainly to display 3D content.
The installation was easy, the vertical lens shift made it easy to install on the ceiling, I had to make a few adjustments.
The 3D VESA connection makes it easy to connect my Gen2 universal emitter. In comparison with the Mitsubishi HC7800D, which I was still using last year, the HD151X clearly loses out. As far as 3D playback is concerned, it is clearly on a par with my former HC7800. I haven‘t noticed any crosstalking/ghosting and playback is flawless. Even in ECO mode, there are sufficient brightness reserves to compensate for the attenuation caused by the shutter glasses. The loud whirring of the color wheel and a little fan noise were a negative feature.
