The Optoma EX605ST is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 125 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 29 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
