With the ZW500T -W -B, Optoma offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 682 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 455 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
