As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Optoma ZH420 is equipped with 4300 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 300000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 224 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 4300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 666 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 444 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
