As a projector for the Homecinema sector, the Optoma H27 is equipped with 850 ANSI lumens, a WVGA 854 x 480 resolution and a contrast of 2300:1. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 296 cm can be illuminated with 850 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 197 cm. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
