As a projector for the Homecinema sector, the Optoma HD29Darbee is equipped with 3200 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 30000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 575 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 383 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. With a value of only 29 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
