Based on DLP technology, the Optoma ProScene ZK810TST projects images in a Short Distance environment, with technical specs listing 7200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Lens Shift Calculator. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 130 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 862 cm can be illuminated with 7200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 575 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
