A projector from Optoma is the RS525, whose DLP model delivers 2600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 4500:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 5000 hours for this projector's lamp, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
