This projector from Optoma utilizes 3D-Laser-DLP technology, achieving 6000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 300000:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 116 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 525 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
