The projector UHD40 by Optoma utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 at a resolution of 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 498 cm can be illuminated with 2400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 332 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 25 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
