The EX388 model is a 3D-DLP projector from Optoma, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 6500 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 8.9 years. A look at the light output reveals: The 3600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 523 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 349 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
