The S343e model from Optoma combines DLP technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 22000:1 and a native SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 6000 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 537 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 358 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 27 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
