According to Optoma, the HD143X model provides 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 23000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 3500 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 25 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

My first projector, which I chose as my favorite after a long search & testing of various FullHD & 4k(LensShift) projectors.
Pro:
-very quiet in ECO mode (and that was most important to me, as I am very sensitive to noise). It‘s not whisper quiet or even inaudible, as Amazon reviews often say, but quiet enough.
-Very clear, high-contrast picture. I‘m not an expert on picture quality or colors, but find the picture very clear & nice to look at.
-Price: for ~400 € you can‘t go wrong if you‘re looking for a very quiet projector. No other projector in this price range comes close to the hd143x in ECO mode.
-Brightness & contrast even in daylight. Of course, the room should be darkened to get a really good picture. But even in daylight you can still see contrast and details.
Contra:
-at 3.5m distance a somewhat blurred picture. Of course, at this distance from the wall (diagonal of ~2.5 m), a FullHD projector cannot project a perfectly clear image. Nevertheless, 4k projectors have the edge. However, I found the lens shift on all 4k projectors far too loud or simply not worth the extra €1000-1500.
-illuminated glow around the image: approx. 10 cm around the projected image you can see a bright glow that corresponds to the black level of the image. As the black level is not really dark, you can see this over-illuminated area quite clearly in a dark room.
