The technical data of the Optoma GT2100HDR includes 4200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300000:1 as well as a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 99 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 4200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 658 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 439 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
