The hardware properties of the DX349 manufactured by Optoma include 3000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 20000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 8000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 11 years possible. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
