The technical data of the Optoma S300 includes 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 as well as a SVGA 800 x 600 display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Regarding projection size, the value of 2800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 307 cm. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
