With the EH415ST, Optoma offers a 3D-LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that features 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 100 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 601 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 401 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
