With the DX609i, Optoma offers a LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that features 2300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2200:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 418 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 279 cm. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
