This projector is named ZU406, originates from Optoma, and its data sheet shows 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 682 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 455 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (15W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
