With the HD90, Optoma offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 20000 hours of runtime, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Lens Shift Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 352 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 235 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.

An all-round top projector.
Quiet, smooth picture with great colors and high contrast.
The brightness is more like that of projectors with 2000 Ansi lumens.
My Sony HW 50 was darker.
The LED technology has many advantages: instant image, low heat, quick brightness adjustment, etc. However, the price of around €3900 is a little high. Competitors offer a similarly good picture for less.
