The projector EX610ST by Optoma utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 125 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
