The Optoma HD81 is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 1400 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 380 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 253 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.

Hello
Have had the Optoma for about 18 months. The picture is absolutely brilliant (with a screen width of 250cm) The projector is in constant use, i.e. it is used as a replacement for TVs
and is absolutely ok. Only if the room is too bright (in summer) does it need to be darkened.
