Known as the PJ668X, this DLP projector by Optoma features basic specs of 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 30000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 6000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 523 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 349 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 27 decibels. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
