The Optoma HD141X is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector that brings 3000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 23000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.

I have been using the device for 3 years. Sometimes 4 to 6 hours without interruption. The color wheel made noises relatively early on, but this subsided after 5 minutes. Nevertheless, I have now changed it myself after 2700 hours. A bit fiddly but doable, and I already have a lamp from a noname supplier. I think the contrast is slowly diminishing...
Picture is otherwise really great. Only the fan and color wheel are always audible.

Problems
As long as the projector worked I was satisfied. After approx. 3000 operating hours and 2 years and 2 weeks after purchase, the lamp imploded with a loud bang. Sent in for repair. After a further 1000 hours of operation, the color wheel crumbled. All this despite the projector being set up completely free from all 6 sides. Good bye Optoma.

Very good!
Have been using the projector for almost a year now.
Conclusion: Very good device, great fun!
- Not suitable for daylight!
- Minimum screen width not less than 2.4m!
- The picture result depends very much on the quality of the input signal!
- Fabulous 3D result (with emitter technology)!
- Cinema feeling!
- Recommended purchase!

it brings a great picture on the LW.

Price/performance is right
Apart from the usual shortcomings in this price range such as chromatic aberration, a very small focusing range and the volume, the projector is a top device for the price.

Super Good!
Absolutely TOP beamer,
it is at least as sharp as a new LED TV.
under 3m seat distance at 2.30m picture width and it is still crisp sharp.
only unfortunately louder than the competition.
