Categorized in the Standard-Portabel segment, the EzPro / EP738 projector from Optoma projects with a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution, alongside 1700 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 359 cm can be illuminated with 1700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 239 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 27 decibels. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
