Based on DLP technology, the Optoma DS309i device delivers 2300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 418 cm can be illuminated with 2300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 279 cm. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
