As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Optoma TX779P 3D is equipped with 5000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 3000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 616 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 411 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
