A brief introduction to the ES551: The Optoma 3D BrilliantColor DLP projector offers 2800 Ansi lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and an SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a lamp life of 5000 hours, which is equivalent to over 6.8 years at 2 hours per day. The projector can illuminate a picture width of up to 461 cm thanks to its 2800 Ansi lumens. In room light, however, the picture width should ideally be less than 307 cm. Furthermore, the projector can play 1080P without any problems. With an operating noise of just 28 decibels, the model is very quiet compared to others. The projector was launched in 2011 and is no longer sold by the manufacturer.
