The ZK431ST model from Optoma combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 4100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300000:1 and a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 99 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 4100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 544 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 363 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
