Categorized in the Event segment, the WU1500 projector from Optoma projects with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution, alongside 11000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 11000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1066 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 711 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
