The projector PS388 by Optoma utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 25000:1 at a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 523 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 349 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
