The ZU725T is a 3D-DLP projector by Optoma, whose specifications list 7800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 7800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 897 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 598 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2022 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
