As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Optoma W416 is equipped with 4200 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 20000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 658 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 439 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
