The DY8901 is a LED-DLP projector by Optoma, whose specifications list 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1400:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
