A projector from Optoma is the EzPro / EP726i, whose LED-BrilliantColor-DLP model delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2200:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
