This projector from Epson USA utilizes Laser-LCD technology, achieving 15000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2500000:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1244 cm can be illuminated with 15000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 829 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances.
