As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Epson USA PowerLite X12 is equipped with 2800 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 3000:1. According to Epson USA, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 307 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
