With the Powerlite L400U, Epson USA offers a Laser-LCD projector that features 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 682 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 455 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
